Cucina Botanica, Italian protagonist of plant-based cuisine
Carlotta Perego created Cucina Botanica, a project to help people live healthier and seek out fantastic flavors with natural ingredients.
When opened, the long clay cabinetry reveals two distinct zones: a preparation area with exposed ingredients that dialogues with the steel island and a living area supporting the dining table.
Credenza and pantry use columns, fridge-freezer and oven column are in the central area. Carlotta chose two water stations, a larger one on the wall flanked by the dishwasher and a smaller one on the island, next to the cooktop.
"Our request was for a kitchen that represented the world of Cucina Botanica, without distorting it, functional for our filming work and with a design that is always up-to-date, withstanding changes and fashions.
Olga asked us so many questions about how we experience cooking, what we like to cook and what we like to do when we have guests."
